3 years agoThe Kansas City Royals reinstated first baseman Carlos Santana (ankle) from the 10-day injured list on Friday. He will be batting cleanup and slotting in as the team's designated hitter for Friday's game at Coors Field against left-hander Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies. Catcher Sebastian Rivero was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Santana is slashing .159/.312/.254 with one home run, six RBI and six runs over 19 games on the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
