3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen (shoulder) was placed on the injured list with right shoulder discomfort on Friday. Treinen hasn't pitched since April 14. Craig Kimbrel remains the team's closer in the ninth inning, but the Dodgers will be missing their valuable setup man for at least another week with Treinen out. Veteran right-hander Daniel Hudson has one save already this year and should be the top setup man ahead of Kimbrel while Treinen is out. The 33-year-old has given up one earned run on a homer while walking none and striking out five in three innings pitched over three outings for the Dodgers so far this year. Treinen remains valuable for holds and K's despite the fact that he's not the Dodgers closer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
