3 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt helped lead the team to an 8-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday. He went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in the game. The home run was his third of the year. The 33-year-old is off to a strong start to the season, slashing .345/.441/.690 through seven games. Going into Sunday's game, he had a .495 wOBA, which ranked in the top 4% of the league. Belt hit a career-high 29 home runs last season and it certainly looks as if he's geared for another productive year at the plate.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
