3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against Daulton Jefferies and the Oakland Athletics. Catcher Zack Collins is getting the start for the game. Kirk was seeing time as the team's designated hitter to start the year, but he became the Jays' primary catcher after Danny Jansen (side) landed on the injured list. Kirk is off to a slow start to the year as he's gone 4-for-20 with no extra-base hits. He has a great deal of upside, especially from the catcher position, so fantasy managers should stay patient with him.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
