Jorge Polanco Settling In After Slow Start
3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco got off to a rough start to the 2022 season. He went 0-for-7 with four strikeouts over his first two games of the year. Since then, however, he has been extremely productive at the plate. Over his last four games, he went 5-for-14 with a home run, a double and three RBI. He only struck out once over the four-game stretch. The 28-year-old had a down year in 2020, but bounced back strong last year as he slashed .269/.323/.503 with 33 home runs, 11 stolen bases, 98 RBI and 97 runs over 152 games.
