De'Andre Hunter Goes For 22 Points In Win Over Hornets
3 years agoAtlanta Hawks small forward De'Andre Hunter helped the team clinch a 132-103 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. He shot 9-for-16 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line in the game while scoring 22 points, second on the team behind star point guard Trae Young. Hunter also added seven rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in the game. The third-year pro averaged 13.4 points per game this year, but he's now scored 20-plus points in three of his last five games. Next up for Hunter and the Hawks is a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. Hunter struggled the last time he faced the Cavaliers in late March, shooting just 2-for-10 from the field while scoring only five points.
