Jean Segura Leaves Game After Being Hit On Forearm
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura (forearm) was forced to exit Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. He was hit on the left forearm by a Sean Reid-Foley pitch. Alec Bohm entered the game to run for Segura and the team did some shifting to cover Segura's second base post. Segura was 1-for-2 over his first two at-bats on Wednesday. He's off to a hot start to the year, slashing .353/.421/.765 over five games. We should know soon whether or not he's at risk of missing Thursday's series opener against the Miami Marlins.
