X-Rays On Francisco Lindor Come Back Negative
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (jaw) passed his concussion test and underwent x-rays on his jaw Friday that came back negative. After being hit in the face by a pitch, he exited Friday's win over the Washington Nationals in the top of the fifth inning. The 28-year-old went 0-for-1 with a walk, run scored, and a strikeout before exiting. Lindor appears to have avoided a significant injury and is considered day-to-day. Luis Guillorme replaced Lindor in Friday's game and is expected to see an uptick in at-bats while Lindor is sidelined. Stay tuned for further updates.
