Michael Conforto Recovering From Shoulder Injury
3 years agoAccording to a report from Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, free-agent outfielder Michael Conforto (shoulder) suffered an injury to his right shoulder during a workout in January. Rosenthal reports that Conforto wanted to work his way back to 100% prior to resuming negotiations with teams. The 29-year-old has reportedly reached the point where he is back to full arm strength, so talks have resumed. He is one of the top free agents still available on the market, despite the fact that he's coming off a rough year. Last year over 125 games with the New York Mets, he slashed .232/.344/.384 with 14 home runs, 55 RBI and 52 runs.
