Broncos Still Open To Re-Signing Melvin Gordon III
3 years agoDenver Broncos general manager George Paton said the door is still open for free-agent running back Melvin Gordon III and safety Kareem Jackson. The Broncos continue to say that they are open to bringing Gordon back into the fold, even if that's the last thing that dynasty managers that have Javonte Williams rostered want to hear. Gordon signed a two-year deal with Denver in March of 2020 and was very productive, rushing for 1,904 yards and 17 touchdowns on 418 carries while also adding 60 receptions for 371 yards and three TDs on 82 targets in that span. The 28-year-old split the backfield down the middle with Williams last year, but Williams might operate as the 1A in Denver's backfield if Gordon returns for another season.
