3 years agoChase Briscoe is one of those Stewart-Haas Racing drivers that could be a bit of a wildcard at Austin on Sunday. His Ford is usually pretty fast and his typical road start is 22nd. So, 14th is a bit of an improvement. His average result is around six spots higher than his start. That would raise him into the top-10. Briscoe does have three top-ten results in his previous seven road races. The No. 14 car has shown his mettle in the early going this season with a win at Phoenix. What many forget is that Briscoe finished eight spots higher at Fontana (road course) and even led 20 laps before problems surfaced. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
