ANALYSIS: Ayo! It's now been 12 starts in a row for the Rookie of the Year! Let's go! Ayo Dosunmu came absolutely out of left field just by virtue of pure necessity, and oh boy is he thriving while manning the point for the loaded-but-injury-hit Bulls. Dosunmu wasn't a pro even half a year ago (and he was just picked one-third into the second round of last summer's draft...), remember, which makes his current level of play as impressive as it gets. For real, for real.
Dosunmu started three games at the two-guard position back in mid-January, hit 21-15-18 points, and paired that scoring with 10-6-8 dimes... and since then he's been the default point-guard of the squad for good. The average line has stayed as high as back then, don't get it wrong: in the last eight games (two weeks of play) Ayo has put up a 12-3-7-1 line. Of course, Dosunmu is not commanding tons of shots and his turnovers are kinda high, which combined with his super-low 13.6% usage rate make for a not-so-beautiful combination.
Ayo is hoisting around 9 FGA per game as a starter and though the percentages have been good (almost 55% from the field hitting 1.5+ 3PM a day), the truth is that half of the positions he's using on offense end on the opposition's hands due to his sky-high 1.9 TOPG. He's been good to steal 1.3 rocks a game, making a little bit up for that careless game, but even then he's a no-no for those in 9-cat leagues looking to avoid TOs at all costs. Even if/when Lonzo and Caruso get back and obviously take on the heaviest roles starting and playing off-the-pine respectively, Dosunmu has done enough to let everybody know he's here to stay, which I think will be the case allowing the rook to stay relevant in the rotation ROS.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
