ANALYSIS: If Patty Mills is not the best signing from last summer's free agency, I don't even know. Of course, you're going to come up with your Lowrys and your DeRozans, but those guys were always going to thrive no matter what/where they signed, and they got handed bounties and hugely filled bags. Mills, on the other hand, signed for peanuts in comparison and has been fundamental for Brooklyn to stay in the upper part of the standings, even more, considering Kyrie/Harden/Durant availability issues through the first half of the season.
Mills has started 30 of the last 33 games he's played (!) going all the way back to Nov. 16. He basically went from super-sub to starter and he's yet to surrender that role, which is hard to see happening soon given Irving can only play on the road, KD is on the shelves, and Harden operates as the bona fide PG opening Mills the spot-up-shooter-role door nightly. Just in the past couple of weeks and through Friday, Mills is 7-for-7 starting while putting up an average 16-2-2 per-game line.
If you peep at that recent average line again, you'll pretty much see what Mills is: a shooter getting nightly buckets, tons of triples, fantastic shooting percentages, and not much more because of the players around him taking on the heaviest burden. Mills, though, is excellent at what he does: he's scored 15+ points in six of the last eight games, he's averaging 3.0 3PM per game since Jan. 1 (he's scored at least one trey in 12 consecutive games and counting), and shooting from such range isn't hurting his percentages at all as he's shooting 48.1% from the field in the past two weeks. Points, treys, percentages, and the odd steals (without many turnovers, on top of that) is what Patty can give you.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
