Tyree Jackson Believed To Have Avoided ACL Injury
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Tyree Jackson (knee) will undergo more tests after getting injured in Saturday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but the early belief is that he didn't suffer an ACL injury, according to a source. Jackson will undergo an MRI exam on Sunday. Before he injured his right knee, Jackson had three catches for 22 yards and his first touchdown in the NFL on five targets in the blowout loss to Dallas in which the Eagles rested most of their starters, including quarterback Jalen Hurts. Tight ends Dallas Goedert and Jack Stoll were both out due to COVID-19, too, so Jackson saw his most playing time of the season. Jackson could have avoided serious damage to his knee, but even if he's ready for the wild-card round, he's unlikely to have much of a role if Goedert is able to return.
