Chargers Activate Jared Cook From COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers activated tight end Jared Cook from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, according to head coach Brandon Staley. Cook missed the team's Week 17 win over the Denver Broncos, but he'll be back for Sunday night's win-and-in showdown against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on the road. In Cook's absence last Sunday, Tre' McKitty and Stephen Anderson combined for just four catches and 30 yards on four targets. Cook should return to his regular role as the team's primary pass-catching tight end, but he's mostly been a low-upside TE2 for fantasy purposes this season. The 34-year-old is averaging only 2.9 catches and 32.3 yards per game and has scored four times on 44 receptions over 15 games.
