Kareem Hunt Not Expected To Play On Christmas Day
3 years agoRegardless of the league's COVID-19 protocols, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski doesn't expect running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) to play on Christmas Day against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday in Week 16. Hunt had a combined nine carries for 25 yards and caught two passes for 13 yards in Weeks 12 and 14 after returning from a stint on Injured Reserve. While he could come off the COVID list before Saturday's game, his ankle injury is likely to keep him sidelined for a second straight game. Nick Chubb will remain the workhorse back in Cleveland's backfield yet again this weekend, and he'll be an RB1 for the volume alone. Chubb carried a season-high 23 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in Monday's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
