Leonard Fournette Ruled Out Sunday Night With Hamstring Injury
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of the Sunday night game against the New Orleans Saints with a hamstring injury. Fournette came into this game listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but a hamstring ailment eventually led to an early end to his night. Tampa's best offensive weapons are dropping like flies Sunday night, with both receivers Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (knee) being ruled out earlier. Before leaving, Fournette had nine carries for 34 and seven receptions for 33 additional yards on seven receptions. Ronald Jones II will be a popular waiver-wire pickup heading into Week 16, as he could be Tampa's lead back next week if Fournette's injury causes him to miss additional time.
