Tevin Coleman Cleared To Face Miami
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Tevin Coleman (concussion) was able to practice in full all week and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The 28-year-old didn't play in Week 14, but he'll return this weekend and is expected to serve as the backup to Michael Carter (ankle), who is expected to have a hefty workload in his return from Injured Reserve. Coleman had some low-end RB2 utility in recent weeks as the Jets primary running back when Carter was still on IR, but now that he'll go back to being a complementary piece, he won't be all that attractive as an RB3/flex. In starts in Weeks 12 and 13, Coleman had 27 carries for 125 yards and also added five receptions on seven targets for 22 yards. Carter is once again the back to own in New York's backfield.
