Justin Fields Officially Inactive In Week 13
3 years agoChicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields (ribs) is officially inactive for the Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals after he was listed as doubtful on the final injury report on Friday. Fields suffered some fractured ribs in Week 11 and will be held out for another week. Veteran Andy Dalton, who threw for over 300 yards against the winless Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, will get his second straight start with Nick Foles backing him up. The Red Rifle will probably have a tougher time through the air on Sunday, though, against an Arizona defense allowing the fourth-fewest passing yards per game (204). Fields has plenty of long-term upside as a dual-threat QB, but he's mostly struggled in his rookie season and will return to being a low-end QB2 whenever he returns to starting duties.
