Adrian Peterson Visiting The Seahawks
3 years agoFuture Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson is visiting the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday. The Tennessee Titans quickly added Peterson when Derrick Henry (foot) went down with his foot injury, but the 36-year-old veteran averaged a weak 3.0 yards per carry on 27 rushing attempts over three games before the Titans cut him. In Seattle, Chris Carson (neck) is out for the rest of the season, and Travis Homer and Rashaad Penny were out in the Monday night loss to the Washington Football Team. Peterson could give Seattle another look alongside Alex Collins and pass-catching back DeeJay Dallas, but he's unlikely to have a significant role and Seattle's offense just hasn't been able to get anything going in the last month-plus. If AP lands with the Seahawks, he'd just be a bench stash for RB depth in deeper fantasy leagues.
