Ricky Seals-Jones, Curtis Samuel Out Again Thursday
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) both missed practice again on Thursday and are trending in the wrong direction for Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers. Seals-Jones has been adequate filling in for Logan Thomas (hamstring) the last six games, but if he's not available this weekend, Washington will be down to rookie John Bates and Sammis Reyes at the position. Samuel hasn't practiced since aggravating a troublesome groin injury on Oct. 10 and has played in only two games in his first year in D.C. The 25-year-old is trending towards a second trip to Injured Reserve, which would knock him out for the rest of the year. DeAndre Carter has stepped up recently as the team's No. 3 wideout.
