Clyde Edwards-Helaire Has Good Chance To Play In Week 11
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said on Monday that running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) has a good chance to come off Injured Reserve and play in the Week 11 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys. The 22-year-old second-year back returned to practice last week, but the Chiefs weren't quite ready to throw him out there in the Sunday night win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Darrel Williams didn't do much on the ground (11 carries for 43 yards), but he went off as a pass-catcher, grabbing all nine targets for 101 yards and a touchdown. CEH's return will push Williams back to a complementary role in a committee approach, making him more of an RB3/flex for fantasy managers. Edwards-Helaire has two TDs through the air in five games played in 2021, and has added 65 carries for 304 rushing yards.
