A.J. Green Back From COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals activated wide receiver A.J. Green from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday. Green will be available to play this weekend against the Carolina Panthers after he was forced to sit out of the Week 9 win over the San Francisco 49ers. And with DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) potentially looking at a second straight absence, Green could have a bigger role alongside Christian Kirk and rookie Rondale Moore this weekend. The 33-year-old has been pretty solid in his first year in Arizona, catching 29 of his 43 targets for 456 yards and three touchdowns with quarterback Kyler Murray spreading the ball around nicely. If Hopkins misses another game, Green will have some nice WR3/flex appeal this weekend.
