Antonio Gibson, Dyami Brown Limited Wednesday
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (shin) and rookie wide receiver Dyami Brown (knee) were limited in practice on Wednesday coming off the bye week. Gibson has been playing most of the 2021 season with a stress fracture in his shin, and as a result he has ceded significant touches to passing-down back J.D. McKissic. Before the Week 9 bye, Gibson had a season-low eight carries for 34 yards. With his efficiency down while playing through injury, he's become a low-end RB2 and will have a tough matchup with a stiff Tampa Bay Buccaneers run D this weekend. Brown missed Week 8 with his knee injury but appears to be on track for a return. But with only eight catches on 20 targets for 81 yards in six games on the season, Brown isn't a realistic weekly flex option.
