Josh Reynolds Heads To Waivers
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Josh Reynolds will head to waivers on Tuesday after he asked for and was granted his release, according to a source. Reynolds signed as a free agent in the offseason before the Titans traded for Julio Jones. The 26-year-old was an afterthought in Tennessee's run-first offense and was a healthy scratch in Sunday night's win over the Los Angeles Rams. In his five games played for the Titans, Reynolds caught only 10 passes on 13 targets for 90 yards and no touchdowns. Whatever team claims him on waivers will owe him only $500,000 for the rest of the 2021 season. Reynolds will be hoping to provide depth at the position wherever he lands next. In Tennessee, Marcus Johnson and Chester Rogers are battling for the No. 4 job behind A.J. Brown, Jones and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
