3 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold (shoulder) is officially active in Week 9 against the New England Patriots. Darnold cleared the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in Week 8, but a shoulder injury made him a game-time decision this weekend. There were questions as to whether the 24-year-old would start, even if he was active, but he will officially be under center to begin the game against New England. But against a Patriots team that has been tough on opposing signal-callers and given Darnold's struggles to move this offense consistently in the last four weeks, even fantasy managers in superflex leagues shouldn't be excited to start him this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
