Derrick Henry Unlikely To Return This Season?
3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans continue to keep hope alive that running back Derrick Henry (foot), the NFL's leading rusher, will be able to return at some point later this season after undergoing surgery on his foot last week. However, one source said that it "would be very surprising if he made it back this season." Fantasy managers must hold Henry until we get confirmation that he absolutely won't be back, but don't get your hopes up. With Henry likely done for the year, the Titans signed veteran Adrian Peterson to be the primary back, starting on Sunday night in a difficult matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Jeremy McNichols should have more appeal as a flex in PPR leagues, while Peterson should be a touchdown-dependent RB3 in his first game in Tennessee.
