3 years agoDenver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus finally missed his first kick of the 2021 season in the Week 8 win over the Washington Football Team. Accuracy hasn't been the problem for him this year, it's been Denver's lack of efficiency on offense, mainly in converting third downs to sustain drives into enemy territory. The Broncos are scoring under 20 points per game through eight weeks and have given McManus only 14 field-goal attempts, which ranks him tied for 14th among kickers. In the last five games (four losses), McManus has attempted only five field goals and nine extra points. And if the Broncos are trailing big to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9, we're going to assume that they're unlikely to settle for field goals when/if they get into a position to score. That will make McManus an unexciting streaming option at the position for fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
