3 years agoAfter days of negotiations, the Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. reached a settlement on Friday that will result in him being placed on waivers on Monday, according to league sources. Beckham can be claimed by an interested team as soon as Tuesday at 4pm ET. The 29-year-old petitioned for his exit in Cleveland this week after catching his only target for six yards in the Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's been battling a sprained AC joint in his shoulder recently, but OBJ has completely fallen off the face of Earth in fantasy with 17 receptions (34 targets) for 232 yards and no touchdowns in six games for Cleveland in 2021. There's always the chance that he'll land in a great situation, but we'll have to see it before we believe it. There's really no reason to hold onto him in 12-team leagues as he hopes to latch on with a new organization.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
