3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (calf) is listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said that Samuel's calf "is worse this week," so the team will take the next two days to see how he feels leading up to Sunday's action. It sounds as though the 25-year-old will be a game-time decision unless we get more clarification on Saturday, which makes Samuel as shaky fantasy option in Week 9. The NFL's No. 2 receiver in terms of yardage had six catches on nine targets for 171 yards in last week's win over the Chicago Bears, and he needs to be in all starting lineups if he's active. If he doesn't receive clearance to play, Brandon Aiyuk and Mohamed Sanu could be the team's top two receivers, with tight end George Kittle (calf) also likely to be heavily involved in his return from Injured Reserve.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
