Antonio Brown Still Sidelined Thursday
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) remained sidelined at practice on Thursday. Brown is dealing with a sprained ankle near his heal and is almost a lock to miss his second straight game this weekend against the New Orleans Saints before the team goes on bye in Week 9. Head coach Bruce Arians wouldn't guarantee that the 33-year-old pass-catcher will return after the bye in Week 10, either. Brown isn't a candidate for Injured Reserve yet, but fantasy managers need to prepare for him to miss multiple weeks. Tyler Johnson was the Bucs No. 3 receiver last week, but he was targeted just twice and isn't a realistic fantasy option, especially with tight end Rob Gronkowski (lung, ribs) on track to make his return this weekend. Brown, who has 29 receptions on 42 targets for 418 yards and four touchdowns, should be stashed in all formats.
