Tevin Coleman Out Wednesday, Tyler Kroft Limited
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Tevin Coleman (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday, while tight end Tyler Kroft (back) was limited. Coleman sat out of the Week 7 loss to the New England Patriots, which meant more work for Michael Carter and Ty Johnson in the blowout loss. Even if the 28-year-old Coleman returns to practice later this week and plays in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, he won't be a realistic option for starting fantasy lineups as the third wheel behind Carter and Johnson. Kroft hasn't played since Week 4, but he could be on track to return to the field this weekend. Even with Kroft out, Ryan Griffin has done next to nothing at the position. The Jets tight end position needs to be avoided in fantasy, especially with rookie quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) now out two to four weeks.
