Javonte Williams - Week 7 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams has been the bright spot in an otherwise poor Broncos offense during their three-game losing streak. Williams had a 30-yard run in the Week 6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in which he opened eyes by hurdling a defender at the end of the run. With impressive runs of 31 and 49 yards against the Ravens and Steelers, respectively, Williams has more big-play upside than backfield teammate Melvin Gordon. The 21-year-old is averaging a nice 4.6 yards per carry so far in his rookie season, but he hasn't carried the ball more than 11 times in the last three weeks as he continues to split the backfield evenly with the veteran Gordon. With the timeshare still likely intact on Thursday night against a stout Cleveland Browns defensive line, Williams will be on the RB2/3 borderline yet again.
