3 years agoIt looks likely that Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) is set to miss his third straight game in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings. According to the Panthers, McCaffrey is not at practice on Friday for the second straight day. The writing was on the wall for CMC to miss another game after he missed practice on Thursday after being limited Wednesday and last week. The 25-year-old star running back isn't quite ready to return, but the Panthers are likely being extremely cautious after McCaffrey missed most of last season with injuries. Rookie Chuba Hubbard has yet to score a touchdown in CMC's absence, but he's accumulated 158 rushing yards and 47 receiving yards in the last two games as Carolina's primary back. He'll once again have RB2 upside against Minnesota with McCaffrey set to miss another contest.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
