Broncos Add John Brown To Practice Squad
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos signed veteran wide receiver John Brown to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to a source. With the addition of Brown, Denver adds speed to the outside after the season-ending injury to second-year pass-catcher KJ Hamler (knee). Brown was with the Las Vegas Raiders in training camp and the preseason, but he was cut before the start of the regular season. The 31-year-old had 33 catches on 52 targets for 458 yards and three touchdowns in nine games with the Buffalo Bills last season. He has a decent chance of joining the Broncos active roster eventually, but how much of an impact he'll have will depend on how quickly Jerry Jeudy can return from his high ankle sprain.
