Tim Patrick Has Season-High Seven Catches In Loss
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick didn't find the end zone for the third straight game, but he did have a season-high seven receptions on nine targets for 89 yards in the 29-17 Week 5 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Patrick's nine targets were second to only Courtland Sutton, and his seven catches tied Sutton for the team lead in a game where the Broncos were forced to throw often. The 27-year-old has 22 catches for 302 yards and two touchdowns and has been filling in nicely as the second wideout with Jerry Jeudy dealing with a high ankle sprain. Patrick isn't flashy, but he's consistent and efficient when the ball is thrown his way. As long as Jeudy remains out, Patrick has some appeal as a WR4/flex in deeper leagues.
