Tim Patrick Has Shaky Flex Appeal Entering Week 5
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick remains undervalued after he led the Broncos in receiving in 2020. He started off strong with seven catches on eight targets for 76 yards and two touchdowns in the first two games of this season, but he had only three catches on six targets for 39 yards in the Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and he hasn't scored a touchdown in the last two games. Patrick will continue to serve as the team's No. 2 receiver behind Courtland Sutton with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) still out, but he'll be harder to get behind as a WR4/flex in deeper leagues if quarterback Drew Lock is forced to start in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers with Teddy Bridgewater dealing with a concussion. It's not surprising that Patrick had his lowest catch percentage (50%) with Lock playing the second half last Sunday.
