Darrynton Evans Designated To Return From IR
3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans designated running back Darrynton Evans (knee) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The Titans are hoping that Evans can return to practice this week after going on Injured Reserve to start the season. It's unclear if he'll be active for the Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but this is good news for the team's running back depth behind workhorse Derrick Henry. The Titans also have Khari Blasingame, Jeremy McNichols and rookie Mekhi Sargent backing up Henry. Evans, a third-round pick last year, carried the ball 14 times for 54 yards and caught two of his four targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in five games in his rookie season in 2020.
