Teddy Bridgewater In The Concussion Protocol
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (head) is in the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the first half of the Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Vic Fangio said "the medical people will be in charge" of determining when Bridgewater will be ready to return. Bridgewater doesn't have a previous documented concussion, so Fangio wouldn't rule out a scenario in which Bridgewater misses practice all week and still plays. That's still unlikely to happen, but there's a chance he can practice on a limited basis on Thursday. Fantasy managers should consider Bridgewater a very questionable QB2 in superflex leagues this week. Drew Lock looked like his normal inconsistent self in relief of Bridgewater. If he's forced to start, the rest of the Broncos offensive skill players should be downgraded against Pittsburgh.
