Drew Lock Doesn't Do Much In Relief Against Ravens
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock was forced into action in the 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the second half of Week 4 after Teddy Bridgewater was diagnosed with a concussion. Unfortunately, he looked indecisive and out of sync with his receivers while going 12-for-21 with 113 yards, no touchdowns and one interception late in the game in the end zone while trying to force a pass to wide receiver Courtland Sutton. Lock can move a little but -- although he didn't attempt a single run -- and has a strong arm, but the same shakiness he showed in the second half is the whole reason the team brought in Bridgewater in the offseason to compete with him. If Bridgewater has to miss the Week 5 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Lock will be a desperation option in two-QB superflex leagues. All of Denver's offensive skill players would take a slight hit as well.
