T.J. Watt Questionable For Steelers Defense
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt (groin) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3. Watt's injury looked potentially serious in the Week 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, but the fact that he was able to practice all week is a great sign moving forward. The "door is open" for him to play against the Bengals. Watt is obviously a very risky IDP option at the linebacker position, even if he were to play. The Steelers defense/special teams hasn't been all that great for fantasy purposes through the first two weeks, but they've allowed just 84.5 rushing yards per game and have recorded five sacks and a fumble recovery. Cincy QB Joe Burrow threw three interceptions in Week 2 and has been sacked 10 times in two games. With or without Watt, Pittsburgh's D is a top-five play in Week 3.
