Keelan Cole Limited Wednesday
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Keelan Cole (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Running back La'Mical Perine (foot), who wasn't active in the Week 1 loss to the Carolina Panthers, was removed from the injury report. Cole was listed as a game-time decision for the season-opener, but he ultimately did not suit up. The 28-year-old could be questionable again, and he's too far buried on New York's depth chart to be of fantasy relevance. On top of it, veteran slot man Jamison Crowder is expected to come off the COVID-19 list to make his season debut in Week 2 against the New England Patriots. The Jets also have top wideout Corey Davis, rookie Elijah Moore and 2020 second-rounder Denzel Mims. Cole should remain on the waiver wire in the vast majority of leagues.
