Clyde Edwards-Helaire Trending Toward Playing Week 1
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) will be ready to roll Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. There was some skepticism that Edwards-Helaire could miss Week 1 following an ankle sprain during a preseason bout against the Arizona Cardinals; however, that was put to rest by coach Andy Reid. Reid said that CEH practiced the past week and "did a nice job." Reid added that he thinks the Chiefs will be OK regarding the running back position. Although Edwards-Healire missed the playoff matchup against the Browns last season, he steps into Week 1 in a favorable matchup. This could be a high-scoring meeting, so Edwards-Helaire is a must-start in all formats. DFS managers should consider starting CEH, as his salary is on the lower end of other top-tier running backs.
