Austin Meadows Launches Two-Run Homer On Sunday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 6-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins. He drilled a two-run shot to right-center field to give the Rays a 5-4 lead. The 26-year-old sits against southpaws and found himself on the bench in three of the last five games. Meadows is starting to heat up and has now logged a hit in five straight games. The Rays outfielder is slashing .237/.322/.458 with 23 home runs, 96 RBI, 71 runs scored, and three stolen bases across 522 plate appearances in 2021. Meadows remains a solid option, but fantasy managers should expect him to sit against lefties most nights.
