D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson Expected To Sit Sunday
3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receivers D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson are expected to sit out Sunday's preseason game against the Colts. Both Moore and Anderson appeared to get slightly banged up during Friday's practice, as Anderson tweaked his leg and Moore was hit in the mouth, though both returned to the action after speaking with the trainers. Head coach Matt Rhule likely would have rested his two best wideouts anyway, with most of the starters expected to sit out the contest. Moore will cost fantasy managers more draft capital, though he has compiled 1,000-yard seasons in each of the last two campaigns, but he could enter the WR1 tier with some more touchdown luck. Anderson is coming off the best season of his career, a 95-catch, 1,096-yard season where he operated as the team's go-to receiver in the short areas of the field, making him a desirable target in PPR formats- also considering his previous rapport with Sam Darnold.
