Domingo German Close To Throwing
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German (shoulder) could throw again soon and "ramp up quickly," per manager Aaron Boone. German was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation about a week ago, but it sounds like it won't be too long of an absence, given that the Yankees believe he can ramp up his pitch count quickly. The 28-year-old righty recorded three straight no-decisions before getting injured, though he was really starting to pick things up, allowing five runs in 15 innings pitched while fanning 20 batters compared to six walks. It seems like a return is around the corner for German.
