Jorge Polanco Homers Twice In Sunday's Win
3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Sunday's win over the Astros. Polanco was busy as a run-producer, adding to the Minnesota lead with a solo shot in the fifth, then breaking the game open with a three-run blast in the seventh. The switch-hitter has legitimately been on fire lately, batting .333 with six homers, 12 RBI, and 14 runs scored over his last 12 games played. Polanco's 20 homers on the season are just two shy of tying his career-high, as he's rediscovered his form from the breakout 2019 season he put together. Polanco will next take on the White Sox, who have yielded a .812 OPS to him in 57 at-bats this year.
