DJ LeMahieu Drives In Four In Rout
3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu went 3-for-5 with four RBI in Wednesday's 10-3 win over Baltimore. LeMahieu delivered a pair of key RBI singles, one that tied the game in the fifth inning and the other that gave the Yankees the lead in the seventh. He capped off his strong night at the plate with a two-run double in the eighth inning, which broke the game open for New York. A triceps issue kept LeMahieu from starting against the Marlins this past weekend, though he certainly seems healthy once again, tallying five hits, five RBI, and three runs scored in his last two games. He'll get a great chance to keep rolling on Thursday against Mariners starter Tyler Anderson, who has posted just a 19.7 percent strikeout rate while ranking in the 19th percentile in expected batting average this season.
