3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield reiterated on Wednesday that he's "not worried at all" about a possible contract extension with the team this summer. Mayfield is only worried about winning after leading the team to a playoff berth in 2020 without star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee). The 26-year-old signal-caller is under contract through the 2022 season after his fifth-year option was exercised. Mayfield made major strides last year and should be more comfortable in Year 2 under head coach Kevin Stefanski, but it's important to remember that this remains a run-first offense, and Mayfield didn't throw the ball more than 33 times in 12 of 16 games. He should be a fine target as a QB2 if he can remain super efficient, but the QB1 upside won't be there consistently.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
