Jasson Dominguez Has Two Hits In Low-A Debut
3 years agoFresh off an appearance in the MLB Futures Game, New York Yankees prospect Jasson Dominguez went 2-for-4 with a double in his Low-A debut. The 18-year-old outfielder previously appeared in seven games at the Rookie ball level and hit .200 with no extra-base hits. He also had six walks and six strikeouts with two stolen bases. Despite playing in just his first official pro season, Dominguez is already one of the most hyped prospects in the game. He's ranked by Rotoballer as the seventh-best dynasty outfield prospect in the game and the 23rd-best prospect overall. He was signed as a free agent out the Dominican Republic back in 2017 and given a bonus of more than $5 million.
